Ryan owner of Rescreening 4 Less did an excellent job and use quality products. He rescreened our lanai so we are able to enjoy our view of Cliff Steven's Park without any mosquitoes. They use to be able to get in but Ryan to care of keeping them out. Thank You RyanPosted on Google

Safety Harbor pool cage · scroll to reveal the after
Restore the enclosure you already have. New screens, stainless hardware, doors, and frame prep — then professional repainting when the aluminum is oxidized.
Pan down — the after photo wipes in from the top. Same Safety Harbor enclosure.
Deck, furniture, and landscaping stay covered. Old mesh and rusty hardware leave in bags, not in the pool.
One crew window for screens, fasteners, and doors — paint sequenced when the frame needs it.
Restore a sound cage for a fraction of a tear-down. Pay for the layers that actually failed.
Licensed and insured. Stainless where salt air eats cheap screws. Honest call if the frame is past saving.
Pool cage restoration is not a coat of paint over tired mesh, and it is not a full tear-down. It is the work that puts an existing aluminum enclosure back in usable, tight, presentable condition: new screening and spline, corrected fasteners, door hardware, kickplates, base anchors when they have rusted, and frame prep so the cage can be professionally repainted.
That distinction matters in Tampa Bay. Pinellas and Hillsborough cages live in UV, afternoon storms, pool chemistry, and salt air off the Gulf. The mesh goes first. Then the galvanized screws stain the frame. Then the door stops latching. Then the aluminum chalks. Restoration treats those layers in order instead of selling you a new structure you do not need.
We restore pool cages and lanai screen rooms across St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, Tampa, and the beaches. If the frame is still square, keep it. If it is not, we say so before anyone opens a can of coating.
Rescreening replaces the fabric. Restoration puts the enclosure back in working order.
One or a few torn bays. Right after a limb, a dog, or a single storm panel. Wrong when the rest of the mesh is chalked and brittle.
Every panel and new spline. The job most Tampa Bay cages need at year six to ten. The frame can still be chalky when you stop here.
Rescreen plus stainless fasteners, door hardware, kickplates, base anchors, wash and frame prep, then repainting.
| If the enclosure is… | Do this |
|---|---|
| Square, beams sound, failures are screens, hardware, oxidation, or doors | Restore. Keep the structure. Refresh the layers that failed. |
| One bent member, a few failed anchors, or a door bay that took a hit | Repair that section, then restore the rest. |
| Buckled posts, failed welds, or the cage no longer sits on the slab | Replace. Restoration will not make a compromised skeleton safe. |
A full rebuild commonly runs $15,000 to $45,000+. Restoration exists because most Pinellas cages still have a usable frame.
Standard fiberglass, 20×20 no-see-um, Phifer PetScreen, or TuffScreen.
Stainless self-drillers, base bolts when rusted, hurricane cables checked.
Handles, latches, closers, bug sweeps, 8-inch or 14-inch kickplates.
Pressure wash, then repaint the bare frame before new screens.
Gray, brittle panels. Spline crawling out. Tears after every wind event.
Orange streaks under screws. Loose kickplates. A door that will not latch.
Chalky white, faded bronze, or blotchy oxidation. Restoration plus repainting beats a tear-down.
Roof panels after a limb. A listing photo that shows a stained cage.
Photos or an on-site walk. Separate screen failure from fastener failure from frame failure.
Old mesh out. Rusted screws, door hardware, and failed base anchors addressed while the frame is open.
Coating on the bare frame. Details on the repainting page.
New mesh after the frame work. Doors latch. You walk the deck before we leave.
Quoted per bay
Isolated tears, one door, or a handful of fasteners.
Typically a few thousand

Still far under a rebuild
A new cage is commonly $15k–$45k+.
Safety Harbor — the frame has to be ready before color goes on.
New screens on chalky aluminum still look like an old enclosure.
Before and after — rescreening and cleaning on an existing Tampa Bay pool cage.
New mesh and spline, corrected fasteners, door hardware, kickplates, base anchors when rusted, and frame prep so the cage can be professionally repainted.
Restore when the frame is square. Replace when members are bent, welds have failed, or the structure no longer sits on the slab.
Painting is its own trade. See the repainting page.
A rebuild is commonly $15,000 to $45,000+. Restoration is the cheaper path when the skeleton is sound. You get a number after we measure.
A straight rescreen is often one day. Hardware and paint take longer because coating has to cure first.
Yes. Patio and lanai screen rooms get the same screen, door, and fastener work.
If that is the only failure, yes. Layers are priced separately.
Like-for-like rescreening is often simpler than a new structure. Cities in Pinellas and Hillsborough do not all treat paint the same way.
Free on-site estimate across Tampa Bay. Less mess. Less headache. Less cost. Less worry.
