Ryan owner of Rescreening 4 Less did an excellent job and use quality products. He rescreened our lanai so we are able to enjoy our view of Cliff Steven's Park without any mosquitoes. They use to be able to get in but Ryan to care of keeping them out. Thank You RyanPosted on Google

Safety Harbor pool cage · scroll to reveal the after
Coat the bare aluminum after wash and hardware — then new screens after it cures. Same enclosure. Tired color first. Restored white as you pan down.
Pan down — the after photo wipes in from the top. Safety Harbor, Pinellas County.
Pool, deck, and landscaping stay covered. Overspray does not belong on furniture or in the water.
Screens come off, the frame gets coated, screens go back. One sequence. No painting over tired mesh.
Paint a sound cage instead of replacing it. Color is cheaper than new beams.
Licensed and insured. Honest call if the aluminum is past coating and needs more than paint.
Pool cage painting is not house paint rolled onto screened walls. It is a coating job on bare aluminum after the mesh is off: wash, prep, fasteners that have already stained the frame, then color that can survive Pinellas UV, salt air, and pool chemistry.
That order is the whole trade. Paint with the screens still in and you overspray fresh mesh — or you lock chalk and rust under a film that peels in two seasons. New screens on a faded cage still look like an old enclosure. Painting happens in the middle of a restoration, not as a weekend touch-up.
We paint pool cages and lanai frames across Pinellas County — St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, Dunedin, Gulfport, and the beaches. White and bronze are the two colors most HOAs still accept. If the frame is bent or off the slab, we say so before anyone opens a can.
Color does not fix torn mesh or rusted tapcons. Match the work to what failed.
The aluminum is chalky or faded and the screens and hardware are still honest. Rare on a ten-year Pinellas cage.
The mesh is done and the frame still looks like itself. Fine when the white or bronze has not given up.
Screens off, stainless, wash, coat, cure, new mesh. Sequence on the restoration page.

South and west walls bleach first. The cage starts to look pieced together even when the screens are tight.
Galvanized fasteners bleed onto white aluminum. The screws come out first. Then the coating.
Faded bronze is the note most Pinellas associations send. Restoration plus color when the frame is still square.
Check oxidation, rust bleed, doors, and whether any member is bent.
Old screens out. Rusted screws and failed base anchors addressed while the frame is open.
Protect the pool and house. Coat the bare aluminum — white, bronze, or the HOA color.
Mesh goes back after the film has set. Doors latch. You walk the enclosure.
| If the enclosure is… | Do this |
|---|---|
| Square, only the finish is chalky or faded | Paint — usually inside a restoration so screens and hardware get done in the same window. |
| Stained by rusted screws and tired doors | Restore, then paint. Do not coat over the fasteners that made the streaks. |
| Buckled posts, failed welds, or off the slab | Replace. Paint will not straighten a compromised skeleton. |

Rescreen and clean on an existing Pinellas cage — paint is the other half when the aluminum has faded.
Fresh color next to rusty kickplates and brittle mesh is the job homeowners regret.
Yes. St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, and the beaches.
No. Coating happens on the bare aluminum. Screens come off first. New mesh goes back after the film cures.
White and bronze are the two Pinellas standards. Many HOAs require the permitted color.
No. Painting is the coating step. Restoration is screens, fasteners, doors, wash, then paint. See the restoration page.
A new cage is commonly $15,000 to $45,000+. Painting a sound frame is the cheaper path. You get a number after we measure.
Not for long. Those screws come out. Stainless goes in. Then the frame gets coated.
Like-for-like coating is often simpler than a new structure. Cities in Pinellas do not all treat paint the same way.
